About the Ingredients
L-Carnitine & Acetyl-L-carnitine Play a key role in sperm energy metabolism. Various clinical studies have shown that carnitines play an important role in sperm function by affecting sperm motility, sperm morphology, sperm concentration, and sperm count. L-carnitine and Acetyl-L-carnitine may also help to protect sperm by mitigating the production of damaging free radicals.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant that protects sperm during formation. It also boosts the effectiveness of vitamin E.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps stop the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and free radicals. Studies have shown that vitamin E, especially when combined with selenium, can help increase sperm motility.
Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that is essential to cell function. Deficiency can result in decreased sperm count and motility.
Zinc is a trace mineral involved in cell division and metabolism, testosterone levels, and sperm count and motility.
Folic acid, along with vitamins B6 and B12, is essential to cell production. Deficiency can result in decreased sperm count and motility.
Selenium Selenium is a powerful antioxidant and is thought to stabilize the integrity of the sperm flagella. Selenium deficiency has been associated with poor sperm motility. A male fertility dietary supplement that contains selenium may increase sperm motility.
Vitamin B12 is essential to the cell division process, in particular for creating genetic material (RNA and DNA). A deficiency of this vitamin can cause low sperm count and motility.
